Regional cross country trials at Lynn Sport.
#teamnarborough celebrating a lovely day competing in the regional finals: Oscar, Lily-May, Jake and Tibby.
All four children had a great experience this morning when they travelled to Lynn Sport, Tibby (Y6) said "it was nice to be able to represent Narborough; it was a hard run but I managed to improve my final position by 2 places from last year!"
"I was really nervous, but then some of the other girls from different schools said they were feeling unsure too so I knew i wasn't alone! I knew I had a chance; at the end I felt ... YEEEESSSSSS!" (Lily-May Y4).
"When we arrived there were lots of people, I felt quite nervous, then when I started my race I felt good and then I was really pleased with my final place." (Jake Y4).
"It was a brilliant race, I was doubting myself at first but then on my final lap, when I saw the finish line ... I knew I would make it! I am really excited to have made it through to the next stage at Holkham Hall, I think it's going to be a tough run!" Oscar (Y6).
