Reading: A Bear called Paddington
Either listen to, or read for yourself, the first two chapters of ‘A Bear called Paddington.
Chapter 1-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKdZ4u6EKiM
Chapter 2- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjAuydxabc4
Or enjoy reading it yourself! It is a free download on Kindle. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bear-Called-Paddington-Book-ebook/dp/B006UN3FTY
Today, you are going to focus on the characters in the story (these are the characters you will need to include in your version that you will write later this week)
What do you learn about each character? What do they look like? What are they like (think about what they do and say). Record in notes what you learn about each character (this will help you when you come to write your own version). See the example below for some ideas (English character notes example).

You can either do the white rose or the NCETM videos. There is no right or wrong option, it is what best suits you. Either lesson will benefit your child.
