As a Church of England school we hold a Christian act of worship every day. Emphasis is put on living our lives in a way which is caring towards others, ourselves and the environment. Collective Worship plays a very important role in setting the tone of school life. We aim to create an atmosphere of peace, understanding and awareness. Collective Worship is conducted in a broadly Christian tradition which is non denominational. At present we are using the ‘Values for Life’ resource to support the planning and delivery of Collective Worship. The children are encouraged to play an active part.
Our daily Collective Worship is led by the teaching staff and by The Revd. Canon Stuart Nairn; occasionally visitors take special acts of worship. The school has close links with our local churches at Narborough, Pentney and Narford and throughout the year parents will be invited to join us for special times at church.
Parents may withdraw their children from the Collective Act of Worship if they put in a written request to do so.
