The children enjoying their day for comic relief.
Across the school the children have been learning more about the charity work their donations support. We were surprised to learn where the money is spent, and how much of a difference our £1 makes when we add them all together! Everyone felt very proud to be part of this fundraising day.
Some of our children created their own environmentally friendly red noses using pieces of scrap paper and old paper clips, whilst also researching about the lives of refugees and the individual stories that make up the tragic circumstances faced by many every day. There was also lots of work looking at the different types of journeys people face on a daily basis to find safety in their lives and we were all so grateful for the lives and opportunities we have.
