Y2 Practise your 5x table.  Y3 Practise your division facts for 2, 5 and 10. Use your times tables facts to help you. So you know 14 ÷ 2 = 7 because you know 7 x 2 = 14

 Try both hit the answer and hit the question.

Verbs, Nouns and Adjectives - http://www.bigbrownbear.co.uk/nouns/  - Click on the link then try to sort the verbs, nouns and adjectives. Options are for Y3 onwards but I think most of the Y2 could try this too. 

Writing

Today we are going to write descriptive sentences using all our senses.

Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHWhebFt_r0 to hear the sounds of the rainforest.  

Then download the picture of the rainforest. Come up with some phrases to describe what it would be like being in the rainforest/jungle. Try to use all your senses. Write some sentences for what you can SEE, some sentences for what you can HEAR, some sentences for what you can SMELL and  some sentences for what you can FEEL. Remember to use lots of good adjectives to help you.
