Spellings: Practice spelling some words containing the suffixes less, ment, ful and ness.
Read for pleasure: Spend 10-15 minutes (or more if you want) reading something for pleasure. It could be a story, poem, play, information text, comic, graphic novel or online text/kindle/e-reader. You could also read to a younger or older sibling.

Extra challenge: How many different verbs can you find that are synonyms for walking? Try using them in a sentence. What effect does changing the verb have on the reader?

Get creative....while the sun is still shining, create a piece of art work inspired by the natural world. You can use any medium you wish (drawing, painting, collage, using natural materials...whatever takes your fancy). I'd love to see photos of your work.
